Sam Short
Head of Basketball
Sam is a Ballarat Junior who has 5 years of NBL experience with Melbourne United and the New Zealand Breakers. Sam is now the Manager and Head coach of Hoop City Eltham whilst playing NBL1 for the Eltham Wildcats.
Zahn Agosta
Coach
Zahn is an Eltham Junior who currently plays for the Eltham Wildcats NBL1 and Championship Youth League teams. Zahn has represented his State at the U20’s Australian National Championships.
Kayla Vitale
Coach

Kayla started her junior career at Keilor before moving to Bulleen competing in multiple VJBL VC teams. Winning the National Classic in U18’s was a junior highlight. Kayla was selected to train in Basketball Victoria’s State Develop and National Intensive Training Programs and had the opportunity to represent School Sport Victoria. Kayla finished her time at Bulleen playing Youth League and BIG V Women’s, before moving to Ringwood where she is now competing in the NBL1.
Jay Lomer

Jay comes to Hoop City Eltham with a truckload of experience in the Australian Basketball landscape. He is the current NBL1 Men's Assistant coach for the Melbourne Tigers, working regularly with the likes of Tom Wilson, Jack Purchase & Harry Froling. Jay is also the current Head Coach of the Men's Championship Youth League Squad.
